What is a WDT?

WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) is a method of stirring coffee grounds before tamping to break up clumps and improve distribution.

It helps create a more even coffee puck and can reduce channelling during extraction.

At Home Coffee Lab, we use WDT as part of our daily espresso workflow and test all WDT tools in a real home environment before recommending them.
