What is an Espresso Shot Mirror?

An espresso shot mirror lets you watch the underside of your bottomless portafilter while your espresso is extracting.

It's primarily a diagnostic tool, helping you spot issues like channelling or uneven extraction without having to crouch down in front of your machine.

It won't improve your espresso on its own, but it can help you identify problems and make adjustments to your puck preparation over time. Also sometimes its just nice to watch a nice shot get pulled.
