At Home Coffee Lab, we believe buying coffee equipment shouldn't be a gamble.

Every day, home baristas are faced with hundreds of similar-looking products, inconsistent reviews, and no way of knowing what will actually improve their workflow.

So we built a different kind of coffee store.

A laboratory.

Step 1 — We Source

When we identify a product category, we don't buy just one.

We source multiple versions from different manufacturers and suppliers to understand the differences in quality, usability and consistency.

Step 2 — We Test

Every product is tested in a real home espresso environment.

Products are evaluated through repeated daily use, considering build quality, ergonomics, workflow, durability and overall experience.

Step 3 — We Compare

We don't ask whether a product is good.

We ask whether it's the best option we've tested.

Only products that stand out against their alternatives move forward.

The rest are rejected.

Step 4 — We Approve

Before a product is listed for sale, it must answer one simple question:

Would we happily use this every morning?

If the answer is no, we don't sell it.

If the answer is yes, it earns a permanent place on our espresso bench.
